Welcome to Robyn's Reverie
I've been spending quite a bit of time lately reading blogs. Mainly, those of Ali Edwards, Elise Blaha, and Becky Higgins. These women have inspired me so much over the course of the last few months. I have let go of any preconceived notions I had about scrapbooking and memory keeping in general. I've learned when it comes to keeping memories for your family, it is most important to just do it. It doesn't have to be fancy or pretty or complicated. In fact, I've really embraced simplicity as beautiful.

So, why a blog? Many times, I have so many creative thoughts running through my head, I find it hard to sleep. I daydream about home decor, paper crafting, photography, digital design, cooking and fashion. I have a million projects going at one time and two million waiting in the wings. Thanks to my husband's job, we have been so blessed to spend the last 16 months in Europe. Needless to say, there are trials. However, the travel and the experiences have been amazing. I really wanted a place I could collectively keep all of these thoughts and stories and images. I want to be able to share our lives with our loved ones. Mostly, I want this to be a place I can come back and remember all the love, joy and creativity that fills our lives. I hope you enjoy it.

Continuing the fond farewell....
The stamp set "Always" has a very special place in my heart. Before I was a demonstrator, I held a workshop in my home in North Dakota with my friend (and now upline) Joy. Joy takes great care in creating workshop projects that speak to the taste of the hostess. In my case, she knew I loved birds and vintage style. She pulled out this stamp set and I was in love. I signed up that week to become a demonstrator and ordered this very stamp set with my starter kit. I am very sad to see it go. If you love it as much as I do, make sure you order it before June 30 when it will be gone forever!
I hope you enjoy revisiting all of my past creations using this fabulous stamp set!

Last Chance List!!
I have to say two of my absolute favorite sets of all time are on the retiring list this year. Sad.
Here are some cards featuring Friends 24-7.
Don't miss your last chance to order your favorite stamp sets today! You can see the full list here.

Simplicity

I sometimes get carried away creating elaborate cards with lots of distressing, embellishing and accentuating. Okay, I do it a lot.
Today I knew I wanted to use the beautiful Beyond the Garden DSP. It is just lovely and full of summer. I also used the coordinating Fabulous Florets. Once I got to stamping I knew this card wouldn't need much. I added a sentiment and brads and it is perfect!
Easy. Simple. Beautiful. All in five minutes!
Country Inspiration
I have to admit I'd never think to use Real Red and Perfect Plum together. The cover of a recent Country Living totally inspired me. I finally whipped this up today after weeks of walking by that magazine thinking, "those colors would make such a pretty card." I'm so glad I did. I love how it turned out!

Strength and Hope
Has someone you know and love been touched by breast cancer? My own grandmother is a twenty year survivor. My husband's grandmother and aunt are also survivors. So many lives have been affected by this horrific disease. That is why Stampin' Up had teamed up with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This summer, from May 1 through August 31, Stampin' Up will be selling a beautiful new set called "Strength and Hope." For every stamp set sold, Stampin' Up will donate $2 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. What a wonderful opportunity!
While the stamp set isn't available just yet, I do have a little preview for you. Just imagine all the lovely creations you could make!
